Problems Facing Postgraduate Students at Saber Faculty of Science and Education, Lahej University from Their Perspectives
Abstract
This study aimed to identify the problems facing postgraduate students at the Sabr College of Science and Education, Lahj University, from their point of view. The researchers used the descriptive survey method. The sample consisted of (35) male and female postgraduate students at Sabr College of Science and Education. A questionnaire was prepared as a study tool consisting of (63) items, distributed over five axes: problems related to (students, teaching staff, courses, scientific research, and administration). The results of the study showed that the sample members agreed to a moderate degree on all axes of the problems facing postgraduate students. The problems related to administration came in first place with a percentage of (67.4%), followed by problems related to scientific research with a percentage of (67.18%), and in the third place were problems related to courses with a percentage of (65.05%), and in the fourth place were problems related to the students themselves with a percentage of (63.09%), and in the last place were problems related to the teaching staff with a percentage of (59.26%). The results showed that there were no statistically significant differences for the variables of gender or academic level, and there were statistically significant differences for the variable of specialization in favor of English Linguistics
