الإسهام الاقتصادي للمرأة في اليمن القديم (دراسة من المعطيات النقشية)
Abstract
This study examined the economic contribution and role played by women in ancient Yemen, as evidenced by some inscriptions, which women contributed as a type of votive offerings (sacrifices - vows), or fulfilling debts. It also some inscriptions that indicated women's right to inheritance and ownership in their society, and their contribution to functional roles and holding positions of economic importance. This study concluded that women in their society had the right to own, buy, sell, trade, and make vows and offerings, regardless of their social status, and thus they were close to men in many economic contributions, as documented by the inscriptions at that time.
